Scrabble Coasters

I have been wanting to make a few DIY projects to not only save some cash but also add some character to our home.
So yesterday my hubby and i took a trip to the second hand store; we came by an old Scrabble board game at the price of 4.00. I thought this would be a good opportunity to make some coasters for our coffee table at home.

It was supper fun to sit down and come up with four letter words that would make up a cute coaster that would be interesting to read while taking a sip of your drink.
We spent about an hour or fun figuring out the words/sentences we wanted to use. This is what we came up with:

Second step was to find a base to glue our coasters on. I could of used the actual board but ended up using the back of a couple of old photo frames that had broken over the years and were not being used.

Using some Superglue we started gluing the letters on the frame boards.
Once the letters were all glued in place we used a cutter to slowly and carefully cut the coasters in shape.

That's that! Our Scrabble Coasters!!!
